قَد رَمَينا مِن الزَمان بِروع

وَاِبتَلَينا بِكُلِ هَول وَبَينِ

We have endured time's fearful blows

And suffered each torment and woe

وَاِحتَسَبنا بِاللَهِ في كُلِ حالٍ

وَاِستَجَرنا بِسَيد الكَونينِ

But we placed our trust in God through all

And sought the protection of he who sustains the worlds.
