مَرآهُ في الإِصباح وَالإِمساءِ
The one I desire more than fresh water
At daylight or at dusk, I see his face
لَكن أَغض الطَرف عَنهُ حَيثُما
شَرق الحِما بِتَزاحُم الرَقباءِ
But I avert my eyes from him always
When throngs of jealous rivals take their place
