هاكَ طفلاً أَراكَهُ اللَهُ جدّا
مَلأَ الخافِقين يمناً وَجدا
He filled the hearts completely with bliss and delight
The stars envy his talismans
تَحسد الأَنجُم التَمائم مِنهُ
وَيَود الهِلال لَو كانَ مَهدا
And the crescent wishes it were his cradle
The hands of fate have raised him angrily
وَاِنتَضَتهُ يَد المَقادير عَضباً
جَعَلت غمدَهُ عَلاءً وَمَجدا
Made his scabbard glory and honor
Al-Qarawi, the carpenter, his newborn
قارويُّ النَجار قَد أَصبَحخ الده
ر رِياضاً بِهِ فَأَصبَح وَردا
Has made the gardens through him roses
