Plundering souls is permitted without blood money
A killer who sheds blood is a butcher
What lion prowls around its lair
With spears and arrows as its equipment
A boy of fourteen, if he appeared
In the darkness of night, I would say dawn has risen
What spring of eyes other than the one that lives
Our souls find rest in him
For me, a rose from his gardens, and wine
From his lips and teeth
Hearts come close to us even if distance
Separates our tombs and spirits
If I write to him the scrolls of my wishes
Messengers between us are souls
