ما ذاتُ حَبلٍ يَراهُ الناسُ كُلُّهُمُ

وَسطَ الجَحيمِ وَلا يَخفَى عَلى أَحَدِ

What rope do all people see

In the middle of hell, hidden from no one?

كُلُّ الحِبالِ حِبالِ الناسِ مِن شَعَرٍ

وَحَبلُها وَسطَ أَهلِ النارِ مِن مَسَدِ

All ropes are made of people's hair

And their rope in the midst of hellfire is braided from palm fiber.
