The nights have passed taking a piece of me, yet I did not complain

Nor did my garment become stained, I value my honor

And calamities befall me, while others sell their honor cheap

Ulya knew my nobility, that I aspire

To what adorns the most honorable, protecting my face

When fate frowns, gloomy and downcast

My back bears the burdens of misery, my stomach

Empty of the provisions of the vile, only a shirt
