1. أصبحت عضد الهدى والدين

    مال الفقير وموئل المسكينِ

    You have become the pillar of guidance and religion

    The wealth of the poor and the shelter of the destitute

  2. يا من إذا ما الخطب أظلم أشرقت

    لك غرتا رأي به وجبينِ

    O you who when tribulations darken, shine brightly

    For you the sun rises radiantly on the horizon

  3. يا من له بشر معين ماؤه

    بالنجح راح مبشري ومعيني

    O you whose good tidings the messenger brings

    With success going and coming, my helper and supporter

  4. سبحان من سواك وحدك من ندى

    ويرى البرية كلها من طينِ

    Glory to Him who created you alone

    And sees all of existence as but clay

  5. فبشاشة في نجده وسماحة

    في عفة وشراسة في لينِ

    So you are cheerful in Najd and generous

    In chastity, ferocity and gentleness combined

  6. قد قلت للمنضي الطلاح مشمرا

    يطوي سهول مهامه وحزونِ

    You said to the gallant warrior prepared

    To cover the expanse of his concerns and sorrows

  7. في كل يوم أنت واصل نية

    قذف تبين بها وقاطع بينِ

    Each day you have sincere intentions

    Clarifying them and cutting off disputes

  8. انزل بربع ابن المظفر تسترح

    وترح نياقك من سرى وبرين

    Descend upon Ibn Al-Muzaffar’s abode and rest

    And let your she-camels rest from journeying and distance

  9. سحَّاب أذيالِ الدروع محاربا

    وسحاب جود في الجدوب هتونِ

    A cloud trailing the edges of shields in battle

    And a cloud of generosity raining heavily

  10. شفع السماحة متبعا أبكارها

    بمكارم ملء الحقائب عونِ

    Intercede with forgiveness following its ways

    With noble deeds filling the saddlebags as aid

  11. بأبي أبي الفرج المفرج بالندى

    والجود منا هم كل حزينِ

    By my father, my father Al-Faraj the uplifter with dew

    And generosity from us is every sorrowful person's concern

  12. بعت الأنام ولم أك والذي

    يبقيه لي في ذاك بالمغبونِ

    I have sold the people but have not been wronged, by He

    Who leaves me in that with the cheated

  13. الواهب الجرد السلاهب والظبي

    والبيض أمثال الظباء العينِ

    The bare-handed lavish giver, the subduer

    And the white ones like the white-eyed gazelle

  14. ملك يرى في كل عام أشهب

    خضل المرابع ذا أثاف جونِ

    A king who sees every year the Pleiades

    Appearing with the inversion of the stars aligned

  15. ما منه بمكدر كلا ولا

    إحسانه بمقدر ممنونِ

    He is not stained by any blemish

    Nor is his benevolence a guaranteed gift

  16. ويمين بر ما السحائب ثرة

    يوما باندى منه صوب يمينِ

    By the right hand that pours clouds

    Of dew from it towards the right in days gone by

  17. ثبت إذا هزت زعازع نكبة

    محذورة أعطاف كل رزينِ

    Firm when the tremors of an dreadful accident shake

    The joints of every steady one

  18. فبثوب كلِ نزاهة متجلب

    وبثدى كل نباهة ملبونِ

    In a garment of complete decency dressed

    And with the bosom of every glory filled

  19. ينميه من آل الرفيل مساعر

    بيض أعادوا البيض حمر متونِ

    He brings him up from the despicable tribe

    Whites who returned the whites to being red interiors

  20. أطواد أحلام بدور أسرة

    أنواء عارفةٍ ليوث عرين

    Rams of dreams of dwellings of family

    Intelligent lions roaring in their dens

  21. يا ابن المظفر والذي ظفرت يدي

    منه بطود على أشم كين

    O son of Al-Muzaffar by whom my hands

    Have gained strength against the enemy hosts

  22. يا قائد الخيل العناقِ ضوامرا

    شما هواديهن قب بطونِ

    O leader of the neighing steeds, an untamed one

    Their zeal intoxicates the innermost souls

  23. تجري به جري الرياح سوابقا

    في كل شهباء السلاح زبونِ

    Running with him running like the winds preceding

    Among the gray hair of weaponry hosts abound

  24. يا دوحة الكرم التي قد فرغت

    هم القلوب وفرعت بصغونِ

    O palm tree of generosity that has relieved

    The worries of hearts and sprouted branches

  25. صدقت جوداً ظن كل مؤمل

    وارحته من مدح كل ضنينِ

    You were true to the hopes of all who wish

    And relieved them from the praises of every resentful one

  26. وجعلت شكي في نوال معاشر

    لما رجوت نداك جد يقينِ

    You made those who complained of attainment

    Trust your generosity with true certainty

  27. فحماك ممنوع ومالك مهمل

    هذا يصان وذاك غر مصونِ

    So your prohibited is protected and your money neglected

    One to be guarded the other unpreserved

  28. وظباك يا ابن أبي الفتوح معاقل

    لمن التجا ومفاتح لحصونِ

    Your gazelles, O son of Abu Al-Futuh, fortresses

    For one who comes and keys to fortresses

  29. فاسعد بعيد عائد بسعادة

    مقرونة بالعز والتمكينِ

    So be joyful, returning with joy

    Coupled with honor and empowerment
