O Baha al-Din, whose call is hoped for,
O wise, excellent, blessed carpenter,
O free of any blame, clothed in all praise,
And bare of any defect and shame,
You are the most generous of people when
A flood comes, and the most caring of neighbors,
You are a rain that enriches the poor with your bounty,
And a lion roused to fury’s height,
If not for your kindness which turned
The destitute's poverty into ease,
None in the world have I seen like you,
Gladdening the heart, making life's abode known,
I swear by you, and do not equivocate,
For your beseecher gains naught from guile,
So remain in bounty, honor, glory,
Loftiness, esteem, and authority.
