وَمِنَ البَلِيَّةِ أَن تُحِـ

ـبَّ وَلا يُحِبُّكَ مَن تُّحِبُهُ

And from misfortune is that you love

And does not love you the one you love

وَيَصُدُّ عَنكَ بِوَجهِهِ

وَتُلِحُّ أَنتَ فَلا تُغِبُّهُ

And they turn away from you with their face

And you persist, yet cannot make them stay
