إِذا أَصبَحتُ عِندي قوتُ يَومي

فَخَلِّ الهَمَّ عَنّي يا سَعيدُ

When I have enough to get through the day

Leave my worries, oh happy soul

وَلا تَخطُر هُمومَ غَدٍ بِبالي

فَإِنَّ غَداً لَهُ رِزقٌ جَديدُ

And do not let tomorrow's concerns cross my mind

For tomorrow has its own, new provision

أُسَلِّمُ إِن أَرادَ اللَهُ أَمراً

فَأَترُكُ ما أُريدُ لِما يُريدُ

I surrender if God wills something

So I leave what I want for what He wants
