إِنَّ لِلَّهِ عِباداً فُطَنا

تَرَكوا الدُنيا وَخافوا الفِتَنا

Indeed, Allah has servants who are wise

They abandoned the life of this world and feared temptations

نَظَروا فيها فَلَمّا عَلِموا

أَنَّها لَيسَت لِحَيٍّ وَطَنا

They examined it and when they knew

That it is not a home for the living

جَعَلوها لُجَّةً وَاِتَّخَذوا

صالِحَ الأَعمالِ فيها سُفُنا

They made it a passage and took

Righteous deeds in it as their ships
