I see you withhold your gifts, so we are patient
Though you begin to deny others your gifts
And whoever yields to your mysteries in need
Will hopefully return for your goodness
I made you foremost in my greetings
So allow me to pray behind your sanctuary
For you will know my patience
When I grasp my staff by your consecrated place
You will hear the Christians' bells
When your deacon spends the night in your monastery
