يا مَن بكى عند العِتا

بِ لفَزعِهِ من قارِفِه

O you who wept at misdeeds

Out of fear of their committer

غَطَّيتَ ذنبَك بالبُكا

عنّي فلستُ بعارِفِه

You have covered your sin with tears

As for me, I know it not
