A robe of light upon a body of comfort

His cheeks engraved with roses and apples

When he appeared in the gloom of darkness, he made me imagine

That dawn had arrived, or the light of a lamp

So I said, I devote myself to the one whose visit

In it is my life, my corruption, and my reform

Who is it that saw a moon shine in the darkness?

Woe to a moon waving in the night!
