Today, drink rose-scented wine

And let not the existent make you forget the non-existent

We are the witnesses, and the throbbing of the lute addressed us:

"Marry the son of the sky to the daughter of the grape cluster."

When you see a goblet in the day looking revered,

Joy said to it: "Rise up, you are not rejected."

Do you not see beauty and benevolence gathered?

So be merry, for you are at a wedding and a feast.
