دُرِّيَّة اللون فيه مُشرَبةً

حمرةُ خمرٍ تمازج اللَّبَنا

Ruby colored its hue is imbued

With the red of wine mingled with milk

كاللؤلؤ الرطب لونُ ظاهِرِهِ

وفيه ماء العقيق قد بَطَنا

Like a moist pearl its outward appearance

Yet within it lies agate's essence
