My father weeps copious tears for Umar
When the protector sleeps meekly at night
And I will not forget Muawiyah
To whom pilgrims of both holy sites make their way
And Sakhra - who is like Sakhra when at dawn
The heroes, resolute, march to the battlefield under his command
That, O Hind, is the doer of great deeds, so know
And the fires of war when its fuel is lit blaze
