بَنو الشَهرِ الحَرامِ فَلَستَ مِنهُم

وَلَستَ مِنَ الكِرامِ بَني العُبَيدِ

You are not of those born in the sacred months,

Nor are you of the noble sons of slaves,

وَلا مِن رَهطِ جَبّارِ بنِ قُرطٍ

وَلا مِن رَهطِ حارِثَةَ اِبنِ زَيدِ

Nor of the tribe of Jabbar son of Qurat,

Nor of the tribe of Haritha son of Zayd.
