  1. Whoever you have shown kind—

    ness, only to have him repay you with ugliness,

  2. yet find your heart still yearning for—

    him, charming though he may be,

  3. should he transgress, leave him; as for transgres—

    sion, you will see this counsel proven sound:

  4. you will see him, by the hand of transgres—

    sion, laid low or wounded.
