    Generosity and virtue are buried

    Non-Arabs and Arabs are corrupt

  7. ما ترى غير باخل

    ساقط النفس والحسب

    You see only lowlifes

    Devoid of soul and dignity

  8. في يديه صبابه

    من تراب ومن ذهب

    Holding flutes

    Of clay and gold

  9. وهو كالكلب دون ما

    في يديه إذا كلب

    Like a dog with bones,

    Oblivious to what it grasps
