ض وبالبليد وبالثقيل

لم صرت يتّبعني الجما
عة في الرواح وفي المقيل
I would not have people following me
In the mornings and in the evenings
إني لأذهب منهم
في كل مدخل وجيل
I walk ahead of them
At every entrance and generation
فإذا التقيت وجدتهم
مني بمنزلة العديل
When I meet them, I find them
Equal to me in rank
إن الثقيل كلامه
مثل الدواء على العليل
A difficult person's words
Are like medicine for the sick
