عرسك من نفسك موصولة

مثل اتصال الكف بالساعد

Your wedding from your own self is connected

فيها الذي فيك على صحّة

مأخوذة بالطبع عن والد

In it what is in you is in good health

Taken by nature from father

فاحكم على نفسك واحكم لها

من غير برهان ولا شاهد

So judge yourself and judge for it

Without proof or witness

إن كنت أفضيت إلى غيرها

بقبلة أو نظر فاسد

If you confided to other than it

With a kiss or corrupt look

فاسمح لها فالطبع أولى بها

إذا كنتما من عنصر واحد

Then excuse it for nature is more deserving of it

If you two are of one element
