لي صديق يلومني في انفرادي

وانقباضي عن زوجة وعشير

دة ذنب المبخّل المغرور

Binding me to laziness out of incapacity and in solitude

The sin of the miserly arrogant one

ويريني مواضع النصح في الت

أليف بيني وبين وجه نضير

And he shows me the places of advice in reconciliation

Between me and the face of a peer

واعتصامي بحرّة ذات حسن

وجمال مكنونة في الخدور

And my adherence to the freedom of essence of beauty

And concealed perfection in the cheeks

قلت دعني ووحدتي وانفرادي

مدخل الهمّ من طريق السرور

I said leave me and my solitude and seclusion

The entrance of worries from the path of joy
