كفى عجبا أني مقيم ببلدة
وقلبي بأخرى مستهام وملهجُ

وحسبك من ضرّ وبؤس بمن سرى
غريبا فريدا مفلسا وهو أعرج
It should suffice as misery and distress for one
Who wanders lonely, unique, destitute, and lame.
