1. For eyes to gaze upon Ẓalm is bliss.

    Indeed, joy abides wherever you abide.

  2. I see the women blame me on her account;

    how hateful to me is anyone I see casting blame!

  3. Never have the kings of any land set a value upon you

    but you rose beyond it, while appraisal falls short.

  4. A face that wounds the gaze when it appears—

    it is marked by chastity and piety.

  5. The women envy your face its beauty, O Ẓalm;

    far from it—you have no peer in beauty.

  6. And I counted myself blessed when once I saw you:

    whoever does not see you is truly deprived.
