إذا النسيمُ جَرَّرَ ذَيْلَه علَى
ساحةِ رَوضٍ فُتِّحتْ أزْهارُهُ
When the breeze trails its hem across
the grounds of a garden whose flowers have opened,
فنَشْرهُ مِن الثَّناءِ نَفْحةٌ
يُثْنِى على المُزْنِ بها نُوَّارُهُ
its fragrance is a breath of praise
with which its blossoms extol the rain clouds.
