خَبِّر بَني الصَلتِ عَنّا إِن لَقيتَهُمُ

خَبِّر بَني الصَلتِ عَنّا إِن لَقيتَهُمُ

أَنَّ الحَديدَ إِذا أَمسَيتُ غَنّاني

أَنَّ الحَديدَ إِذا أَمسَيتُ غَنّاني

Tell the sons of al-Ṣalt about us, if you meet them:

that when evening overtakes me, iron sings to me.

فَدونَكُم مالِكاً لا يُفلِتَنَّكُم

فَدونَكُم مالِكاً لا يُفلِتَنَّكُم

فَمالِكٌ في حِياضِ المَوتِ دَلّاني

فَمالِكٌ في حِياضِ المَوتِ دَلّاني

Malik is yours, then—do not let him escape you;

for Malik led me into the pools of death.
