1. جِبريلُ أَنتَ هُدى السَما

    ءِ وَأَنتَ بُرهانُ العِنايَه

    Gabriel, you are guidance from the heavens, and you are proof of providence.

    Spread your two wings, which are purity and guidance.

  2. اُبسُط جَناحَيكَ اللَذَي

    نِ هُما الطَهارَةُ وَالهِدايَه

    Add to the crescent in glory, and to the cross in care.

    For they are banners for your Lord, while war is the banner of Satan.

  3. وَزِدِ الهِلالَ مِنَ الكَرا

    مَةِ وَالصَليبَ مِنَ الرِعايَه

    The Merciful did not create anything greater than them in righteousness and wonder.

    The two reds signify costly blood and its sanctity.

  4. فَهُما لِرَبِّكَ رايَةٌ

    وَالحَربُ لِلشَيطانِ رايَه

    The two striders for rescuing, the two runners to protection.

    Shining over the tumult, enlightenment was clear from misguidance.

  5. لَم يَخلِقِ الرَحمَنُ أَك

    بَرَ مِنهُما في البَرِّ آيَه

    They stand beside bloodshed like innocence beside crime.

    Had they stayed over Karbala, the grandson would not have been denied water.

  6. الأَحمَرانِ عَنِ الدَمِ ال

    غالي وَحُرمَتِهِ كِنايَه

    Or if they had reached the day of Messiah, they would have aided him in revenge.

    And for us was martyrdom, not escape, which stories describe.

  7. الغادِيانِ لِنَجدَةٍ

    الرائِحانِ إِلى وِقايَه

    O you who bestowed protection on the wounded.

    You endured well in pulling out arrows, enduring your epoch’s archery.

  8. يَتَأَلَّقانِ عَلى الوَغى

    رَشَداً تَبَيَّنَ مِن غِوايَه

    And you passed the captives, so you were the breeze of their courtyard lodging.

    And the daughters of your gender, if they build goodness, excel in building.

  9. يَقِفانِ في جَنبِ الدِما

    كَالعُذرِ في جَنَبِ الجِنايَه

    Yesterday, for Luthar, her neighbor’s care was not enough.

    She extended a hand to the soldiers and was generous in wrapping them.

  10. لَو خَيَّما في كَربُلا

    لَم يُمنَعِ السِبطُ السِقايَه

    And the veiled women, they suffice wherever a deputy is lacking.

    Aiding a riverbank or villages like the women of Tay in the beginning.

  11. أَو أَدرَكا يَومَ المَسي

    حِ لَعاوَناهُ عَلى النِكايَه

    If they are not the Merciful's angels, yet they are their tale.

    They answered your noble call and raced to reach righteousness.

  12. وَلَنا وَلاهُ الشَهدَ لا ال

    خَلَّ الَّذي تَصِفُ الرِوايَه

    The beneficent are the essence, and the rest of the people are waste.

    O you who roam in ignorance and blindness.

  13. ياأَيُّها اللادي الَّتي

    أَلقَت عَلى الجَرحى حِمايَه

    Who ignite war out of love for expanding authority.

    You who claim custodianship and divine rule over all people.

  14. أَبلَيتِ في نَزعِ السِها

    مِ بَلاءَ دَهرِكِ في الرِمايَه

    You who birth death, demolishing endlessly.

    Every wound will be mended, with consolation or forgetting.

  15. وَمَرَرتِ بِالأَسرى فَكُن

    تِ نَسيمَ واديهِم سِرايَه

    Except the wounds of truth, in the era of decadence and disregard.

    They will remain bleeding, until the day of lawsuit and grievance.

  16. وَبَناتُ جِنسِكِ إِن بَنَي

    نَ البِرَّ أَحسَنَّ البِنايَه

  17. بِالأَمسِ لادى لوثَرٍ

    لَم تَألُ جيرَتَها عِنايَه

  18. أَسدَت إِلى أَهلِ الجُنو

    دِ يَداً وَغالَت في الحِفايَه

  19. وَمُحَجَّباتٍ هُنَّ أَط

    هَرُ عِندَ نائِبَةٍ كِفايَه

  20. يُسعِفنَ رِيّاً أَو قِرىً

    كَنِساءِ طَيٍّ في البِدايَه

  21. إِن لَم يَكُنَّ مَلائِكَ الر

    رَحمَنِ كُنَّ هُمُ حِكايَه

  22. لَبَّينَ دَعوَتَكِ الكَري

    مَةِ وَاِستَبَقنَ البَرَّ غايَه

  23. المُحسِنونَ هُمُ اللُبا

    بُ وَسائِرُ الناسِ النِفايَه

  24. يا أَيُّها الباغونَ رُك

    كابَ الجَهالَةِ وَالعِمايَه

  25. الباعِثونَ الحَربَ حُب

    باً لِلتَوَسُّعِ في الوِلايَه

  26. المُدَّعونَ عَلى الوَرى

    حَقَّ القِيامَةِ وَالوِصايَه

  27. المُثكِلونَ الموتِمو

    نَ الهادِمونَ بِلا نِهايَه

  28. كُلُّ الجِراحِ لَها اِلتِئا

    مٌ مِن عَزاءٍ أَو نِسايَه

  29. إِلّا جِراحُ الحَقِّ في

    عَصرِ الحَصافَةِ وَالدِرايَه

  30. سَتَظَلُّ دامِيَةً إِلى

    يَومِ الخُصومَةِ وَالشِكايَه
