أشرقت حلوان

بابن محييها

Hulwan shone bright

With the son who revived it

بعلىّ الشان

بدر ناديها

With the most noble stature

Its full moon called it

زارها الغيث

مذ بدا فيها

The rain visited it

Since he appeared in it

وأتى الغوث

لأهاليها

And aid came

To its inhabitants

يا شقيق المجد

يا أخا الأفضال

O brother of glory

O brother of nobility

أنت نجم السعد

في سما الإقبال

You are the star of fortune

In the sky of prosperity

جاهك الجاه

والرعاية غال

Your eminence is eminent

And your care is precious

صانك الله

وأدام الآل

May God protect you

And perpetuate the family
