O Egypt, your sky is a jewel

And your land seas bow down to

The Nile is a flowing life

And its sweet bounty a giver

The king made your present happy

For you in the world a free tomorrow

And the age is brought closer to you

And to your protector grows fond

The Orient your bloom made apparent

And your generation's civilization pursued

For your throne among its family

The highest history and most glorious

With loftiness of ambition we restore it

And with spreading knowledge we renew it
