O palace, do you nurture our covenant
And fulfill, if loyalty is dear to people, the loyal one's vow
Do not let the secrets of love be lost in you
And keep them in the nooks and soft places
And take a seal over its things
For the things of love are treasures of intimacy
Memories, whenever stirred
The pure musk is lost from your walls
Kisses that only love can count
Fragrant in the morn and fragrant in the eve
The body finds for it a whisper like
The rustle of wheat or the tinkle of trinkets
And an embrace where the eyelids intertwined
And the branch bent into the soft cheek
O palace, the wedding of love is over
And the dawn has folded the night of intimacy
And long ago on nights, the delight
Of the wedding did not last, nor did the atmosphere
