1. فلسطينُ صبراً إنّ للفوز مَوْعِدا

    فَإِلَّا تفوزي اليومَ فانتظري غدا

    Palestine, have patience, victory has an appointed time

    If you do not triumph today, wait for tomorrow

  2. ضمَانٌ على الأقدارِ نصرُ مُجاهدٍ

    يرى الموتَ أن يحيا ذليلاً مُعَبَّدا

    The victory of the resolute is guaranteed by fate

    He sees death as living in humiliation and submission

  3. إذا السّيفُ لم يُسْعِفْهُ أَسْعَفَ نَفْسَهُ

    بِبأسٍ يراه السّيفُ حتماً مُجرَّدا

    If the sword does not help him, he helps himself

    With violence that the sword sees as inevitable and bare

  4. يَلوذُ بِحدَّيْهِ ويمضي إلى الوَغَى

    على جانبيهِ من حياةٍ ومن رَدَى

    He takes refuge in its sharpness and goes into the fray

    With his life and destruction on either side of him

  5. مَنَعْتِ ذِئابَ السُّوءِ عن غِيلِ حُرَّةٍ

    سَمَتْ في الضّواري الغُلْبِ جِذماً ومَحْتِدا

    You prevented the evil wolves from the darling lamb

    It wandered in the wilds, a victim and confused

  6. لها من ذويها الصّالحين عزائمٌ

    تَفُضُّ القُوى فضّاً ولو كُنَّ جلمدا

    It has resolute kinsmen

    Whose strength overflows, even if they were frozen

  7. إذا صدمت صُمَّ الخُطوبِ تَطَايرتْ

    لدى الصّدمةِ الأُولى شَعاعاً مُبدَّدا

    When you hit the deafness of disasters, they scattered

    At the first blow, rays dissipated

  8. لكِ اللهُ من مظلومةٍ تشتكِي الأَذَى

    وتأبَى عوادِي الدّهرِ أن تبلغَ المَدَى

    May God give you, oh oppressed one who complains of harm

    And refuses the calamities of fate to reach the goal

  9. جَرَى الدّم يسقِي في ديارِكِ واغِلاً

    من البَغْي لا يَرْضَى سوى الدّمِ مَوْرِدا

    Blood flowed, watering your lands intensely

    With tyranny that is satisfied only with blood as a source

  10. تجرَّعه ناراً وكان يظنُّه

    رحيقاً مُصَفَّى أو زُلالاً مُبرَّدا

    They drank it like fire while they thought it

    Purified wine or cooled nectar

  11. كذلك يُشقِي وعدُ بِلفورَ مَعْشراً

    مناكيدَ لاقوا منه أشقى وأنكدا

    Thus the Balfour Declaration caused misery

    To a group who found in it most wretched and sad

  12. نَفَتْهُم فِجاجُ الأرضِ من سوءِ ما جَنَوْا

    فجاءوا على ذعرٍ عَباديدَ شُرَّدا

    The roughness of the earth expelled them because of their sins

    So they came in panic, scattered slaves

  13. يُريدون مُلكاً في فلسطين باقياً

    على الدّهرِ يحمِي شعبَهم إن تمرَّدا

    They want an eternal kingdom in Palestine

    Protecting its people if they rebel

  14. يُديرون في تهويدِها كُلَّ حيلةٍ

    ويأبى لها إيمانُها أن تُهوَّدا

    They try every trick to Judaize it

    But its faith refuses to be Judaized

  15. بلادٌ أعَزَّتْها سيوفُ مُحمّدٍ

    فما عُذرُها ألا تُعِزَّ مُحمَّدا

    A country honored by Muhammad's swords

    What is its excuse not to honor Muhammad?

  16. أفي المسجدِ الأقصَى يَعيثُ الأُلىَ أَبَوْا

    سوى المالِ طُولَ الدّهرِ ربّاً ومسجدا

    Do the cursed frolic in Al-Aqsa Mosque

    Only money being worshipped there forever?

  17. أَحَلُّوا الرّبا فالأرضُ غُبْرٌ وُجوهُها

    تُرينا الصّباحَ الطّلقَ أَقْتَمَ أَرْبَدا

    They permitted usury, so the land is dusty and its faces

    Show us the clear dawn gloomier and darker

  18. تَنُوءُ بأعباءٍ ثِقالٍ من الأَذَى

    ويُوشِكُ فيها الخَسفُ أن يتجدَّدا

    Straining under heavy burdens of harm

    And devastation is about to be renewed in it

  19. رموها بخطبٍ هدَّ مِن أهلِها القُوَى

    وغَادَرَهُمْ مِلءَ المَصارعِ هُمَّدا

    They bombarded it with campaigns that weakened its people

    And left them full of anxiety

  20. أَيُمْسِي عبيدُ العجلِ للنّاسِ سادةً

    وما عرفوا منهم على الدّهر سيّدا

    Will the servants of the calf become masters of the people?

    They never knew a master over time

  21. لهم من فِلسطينَ القُبورُ ولم يكن

    ثراها لأِهلِ الرِّجسِ مَثوىً ومرقدا

    They only have graves in Palestine, and ruins were not

    A dwelling and tomb for the people of defilement

  22. أقمنا لهم فيها المآتِمَ كُلَّما

    مَضَى مَشهدٌ مِنهُنَّ أَحْدَثْنَ مَشهدا

    We held mourning ceremonies for them whenever

    One scene passed, we created another scene

  23. فَقُل لِحُماةِ الظُّلمِ من حُلفائهم

    لنا العهد نحميهِ ونمضِي على هُدَى

    So say to the protectors of injustice among their allies

    We have the covenant, we protect it, and follow guidance

  24. نَرُدُّ على آبائنا ما تَوَارَثَتْ

    قَواضبُهم لا نَتَّقِي غارةَ العِدَى

    We give back to our ancestors what

    Their ships inherited, we do not fear the enemy's assault

  25. نَضِنُّ بهم أن يُفضَحوا في قُبورِهم

    ونحمِي لهم مجداً قديما وسُؤْدُدا

    We vie so they are disgraced in their graves

    And we protect their ancient, everlasting glory
