Renew the truth and make it your covenant

And protect the East in the redeemed world

Come and raise it as a minaret of honesty

Whose light radiates nobility and glory

When the peoples of the East are lost

It illuminated the path for them, guiding and directing

The essence of the most noble covenants

    And the sharpest white swords

It flutters casting down the heroes

Rushing into the fray on horseback

So whoever asks me about the glory of my people

I will surpass the poets in answering

    They sought out pure springs

But found nothing like the edge of a sword

And they knew construction but were not

Like one who unjustly dominates the builders

They refused for their countries except a life

That is hard even for the powerful when they are obstinate

    Whenever the people preferred disgrace

They threw themselves into hardship and misery

    And whoever seeks free life

Will see no alternative to daring
