كابدت من زمني كوارث جمة

وامرها في مرها ثنتان

Yet they come in two forms:

لغة الجنان اذا هذت في مدح قا

رى لغوها وسياحة البستاني

When the tongue of heavens praises an arid site

Its praise is nonsense and the gardener’s folly
