عَلى اللَه في كُل الأُمور مَعولي

وَمِن فَيضِهِ أَرجو بِأَن أَبلغ المُنى

In all affairs, Allah is my reliance

And from His bounty, I hope to attain my wishes

وَما زلتُ مُذ كانَت حَياتي جَهالة

أُسيءُ إِلى نَفسي وَما زالَ مُحسِنا

Since my life has been ignorance

I have wronged myself, yet He remains the Beneficent
