من مسعدي من عَذيري

من مُنصِفي من مُجيري

Who will console me, who will help me,

Who will give me justice, who will give me refuge,

مِن آخذ بِيَميني

مِن جور ظَبي غَرير

Who will take my hand,

Who will save me from the injustice of a fierce enemy?

يا راحَتي وَاِرتِياحي

وَبَهجَتي وَسُروري

O my comfort and relaxation,

My joy and delight,

مِن أَينَ آتي بِقَلب

عَلى الصُدود صَبور

Where can I find a heart,

That is patient with estrangement?

إِن كُنتَ تَهوى تَلافي

رَضَيتُ بِالمَقدور

If you wish to turn away from me,

I accept what is destined.

لا بِتَّ يا مَن جَفاني

بِلَيلة المَهجور

Do not turn away, O you who has abandoned me,

On the night of abandonment.
