O my ailing one, the passions have ignited a fire,
You were to me a neighbor protecting his neighbor,
The source of beauty and charm has become
A source and refuge for illness,
Indeed the face of fever is a glowing face
When it prevails openly during the day,
It did not disfigure his beautiful face, but
Made the roses of his cheek all the more flaming.
