My soul is in love with one who will make me suffer
And turn my body into a shroud and a tombstone
I denied passion though it made its beauty
My sun when I looked upon the sun
Indeed, the whole world has narrowed around me
With his abandonment, as if I were imprisoned
I house a wandering heart filled with sorrow
Of longing, though my eyes are at a wedding
And I fear if his affairs fall apart
The jinn in him will rebel against mankind
