مَن أَنا في مَوقِفِ الحِسابِ إِذا

نودِيَ بِالأَنبِياءِ وَالرُسُلِ

Who am I at the station of Judgment, when

The prophets and messengers are summoned forth?

ذَلِكَ يَومٌ يَجِلُّ عَن خَطَري

فَما لِمِثلي هُناكَ مِن أَمَلِ

That is a day too momentous for my significance;

For one like me, no hope remains there.

هُنتَ عَلى الخالِقِ الجَليلِ فَما

يَنظُرُ في قِصَّتي وَلا عَمَلي

I was of no consequence to the Sublime Creator, that He

Should look upon my story or my deeds.
