Turn it towards us before we part
Pass the cup around us before we separate,
And bring me from it a delicious drink
And pour me a draught of the purest, clearest wine,
For the face of dawn has intended to make darkness laugh
For the face of Dawn prepares to make the darkness laugh,
And the shirt of night has intended to tear apart
And the garment of the Night is ready to be torn asunder.
