He who was ignorant of what was in me
Whoever may be ignorant of my suffering,
You are not ignorant of us
You are certainly not unaware of me.
Oh occupation, preoccupier of my soul
O 'Inan, O preoccupation of my soul,
O fairest of both worlds
O most beautiful of all the worlds.
You have instilled in us
Have you cast from yourself upon us
The secret of asceticism in us
The secret of indifference towards us?
Or no, so in what thing
Or if not, then for what cause
Have you abandoned me, tell us
Have you abandoned me? Tell me.
