Pour the wine for me again in the goblet,
And serve me a drink, in defiance of my blamers,
And drag forth a wineskin that resembles a man,
With distinct forearms fashioned from dark leather,
Pass it around us, pass around the aged vintage,
By which the dense fabric of my Islam is rendered thin,
As if it were, when the mixing water strikes it,
A meteor in the night gloom, flashing before me.
