Homes yearned for, yet few returned
As for the dwellings, brief was their tarrying there,
Between race of cavalry and foot traveller
Amidst the racing of white camels against the riders,
Reins of longing around their necks placed
They laid the whips of longing upon their necks,
Until far from home carried away
Until they bore them far beyond their homelands.
