ومنتبهٍ بين الندامى رأيتهُ

وقد نام أهلُ البيت دبّ إلى الساقي

I spotted one alert among the drinking companions,

Who, when the household slept, crept toward the cupbearer.

فأولجَ فيه مثل أسودَ سالخ

اصمّ من الحيّات ليس له راق

He plunged into him a member like a shedding black snake,

A deaf adder among serpents that answers to no charmer.

أشقّ لريح الأستِ من حدّ شفرةٍ

وأنفذ في الخصيين من رأس مزراقِ

More sharp in cleaving the rear passage than a razor's edge,

And piercing toward the testicles deeper than a javelin's point.

فلما انتحى فيه تحرّف وانثنى

وأطرقَ عند النيكِ أحسن إطراقِ

When he bore down upon him, he shifted and bent,

Lowering his head during the fucking with the finest submission.

فقلتُ له لا تلفين مقصراً

ولا مشفقاً في غير موضع إشفاقِ

So I said to him, "Let me not find you holding back,"

"Nor showing pity in a place that calls for no pity."

أجد عصرَ خصييهِ فإنّ سكونهُ

سكونُ فتىً صبّ إلى النيكِ مشتاقِ

"Grip his testicles firmly, for his stillness"

"Is the stillness of a lovestruck youth yearning for the fuck."

ولو لم يكن يقظان ما قام أيرهُ

ولا ضمّ عند النيكِ ساقاً إلى ساقِ

"For were he not aroused, his own shaft would not have risen,"

"Nor would he have pressed leg against leg during the act."
