نك مَن لقيتَ من الصباح

ولا تفكّر في افتضاح

Bed whomever you meet at the break of dawn,

And give no thought to being exposed;

واجعل ملامةَ من لحى

ريحاً تهبُّ من الرياح

And treat the censure of the blamer

Like a wind that blows among the winds;

واجعل بأيرِكَ فيهمُ

طعنَ الخوارجِ بالرماح

And with your member, deal unto them

The thrusting of Kharijites with spears;

وانزل فناءَ مجانةٍ

يا قومُ حيّ على النكاح

And settle in the courtyard of debauchery,

Crying, 'O people, hasten to copulation!'
