أَلا تَأتي القُبورَ صَباحَ يَومٍ
فَتَسمَعَ ما تُخَبِّرُكَ القُبورُ
Will you not come to the graves one morning,
So you may hear what the graves have to tell?
فَإِنَّ سُكونَها حَرَكٌ تَنادى
كَأَنَّ بُطونَ غائِبِها ظُهورُ
For their stillness is a commotion calling out,
As if their hidden interiors were visible surfaces.
