خُذِ القصفَ بتَأيينِ

ودع رأيَ المجانين

Seize the revelry with unhurried ease,

And leave behind the views of madmen,

ودع عنكَ أحاديث

هشامٍ وابنِ سيرين

And cast aside the traditions

Of Hisham and Ibn Sirin,

وكن أوّلَ من آثرَ

دنياهُ على الدينِ

And be the first to prefer

His worldly life over religion.
