أَيُّها العاذِلانِ لا تَعذِلاني

في مُناساةِ خِلَّةِ الإِخوانِ

O you who blame me, do not blame me

O you two blamers, do not censure me,

For the estrangement of dear friends

For seeking to forget the bond of company,

مَرِضَ الوِدُّ وَالإِخاءُ وَبادا

فَدَعاني مِنَ المَلامِ دَعاني

Affection and brotherhood have fallen ill and perished

Affection has grown ill, and brotherhood has perished,

So cease your blaming and reproaching me

So spare me from your blame, and let me be.
