الشربُ في مجلسٍ خُفّت جوانبُه

بالنرجس الغضّ والنسرين والآسِ

Drinking in a chamber with lowered walls

Is drinking in a gathering whose borders are adorned

Of narcissus, tender saffron, and myrtle

With fresh narcissus, eglantine, and myrtle.
