The dawn has risen, morning blushes crimson,

And the night is heralded by whispers of dawn.

In its progression, stars like lanterns,

With the splendor of the haloed moon inclined to excuse.

As though it were the day of the decrepit wager,

A tomorrow shaking off the drops of rain,

From the undulating gait of a distant, moaning camel,

Whose burdened bird circles warily overhead,

Sheltering beneath the boughs of trees,

That sincerely promise with a glance,

As though their eyes were set in solid rock,

Between impenetrable heights, unpierced by needles.
